Little boy goes fishing with family, catches a fish using a toy fishing rod in adorable fashion

Fishing is a timeless tradition. It’s a time away from bustling cities and modern civilization, and a great opportunity for family to spend time together in the great outdoors.

With so many tricks to employ in the fishing sport, the odds of having beginner’s luck is quite rare. Unless you’re this little boy.Naturally, there are various tips and techniques to sharpen your fishing skills. You can hand gather, spear, net, angle or trap – the possibilities are almost endless, but all with the same end goal in mind – to catch the coveted prize that is a fish.

Not only did he successfully catch a fish one-third of his size, but he did it using a toy fishing rod.

Imagine spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on prime fishing equipment… only to be bested by a toy.

Following the instructions of his parents, the little boy even manages to reel in the fish all by himself. You can tell that was no easy feat because when the father hands the boy his prize, he struggles a little just to hold his enormous catch!

In the end, he did what few men have done before him and at more than half their size!

His father guides him in the art of fishing while his mother captures every moment on video. His older sister, still a little girl herself, cheers on her baby brother at his achievement, boasting, “That’s how a man holds it!” when the little boy gets to hold his caught fish.
