Couple sells car to pay for their triplets’ medical bills. Then a stranger shows up at their home

Thanksgiving is a time to give back, and for many that can mean spending extra time donating and volunteering. For one Florida man named Joe Miranda, it meant changing the lives of three girls who are triplets suffering from the same brain tumor.

Joe Miranda saw their story on the news one night, which showed viewers the desperate struggle they faced every day. With the father, Joe, working 12-14 hour days and their children and mother, Kim, left carless despite their frequent hospital trips, Miranda and his wife immediately agreed to provide help.Ellie, Gigi, and Carmina were in desperate need of surgery and treatment at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, and their parents were selling everything to help get them what they needed.

“My wife and I were both looking at the piece,” Miranda told their local CBS station. “And we both look at each other and we both nodded like, ‘yes, we need to do something here. There was no thinking about it. It was a done deal and so I immediately called and left a message.”
The Miranda’s donated a 2004 KIA SUV in good condition to the family, along with an all-expense paid trip to visit Legoland in central Florida. They also plan to sit down with the parents to make sure the children are given a great Christmas.

“I want to make sure one thing’s for sure – those kids, this Christmas are going to have a great Christmas. I also want to see what Kim and Joe need to make things a little easier for them.”
The mother, Kim, commented-
“Truly blessed, we can get to the doctors now. I can’t tell them how much this truly changes what we’re able to do for the girls. Which is what it’s about.”
And the father, Joe, also noted-
“We’re just truly thankful they came into our lives. We get to meet them and the things they’ve done for us. It’s truly amazing. And it’s changed our holiday and our life.”
While they have a long and difficult road ahead, a stranger has completely changed their lives. We hope the family enjoys the wonderful holiday season ahead with all of the generosities provided by an angel in disguise!
