Baby is just 9-weeks old but has a head full of hair – Mom gives him a bouffant style

Most babies aren’t born with a lot of hair on their head, but one newborn baby was born with all of that and more when his mother and midwife realized he had an almost perfect full head of hair. Born Junior Cox-Noon at Brighton General Hospital at a healthy 10 pounds, the little boy was born to a hairdresser mother, Chelsea Noon, 32. Already a perfect match!

According to Noon, she didn’t realize how much hair her son had until she began to bathe him, saying,

“He came out with loads of hair. I didn’t realise how much until he had his first bath. All the midwives and health visitors said it would fall out because baby hair usually comes out when they rub their head on the back of the cot, but he hasn’t lost any of it and it has grown.”

Noon has since styled it to be a bouffant, and has commented that everyone wants to touch his hair.

“When I take him with me on the weekly shop in Asda everyone does a double-take and says, “Oh my God, look at the baby’s hair,” and they have to touch it. He doesn’t seem to mind and gets a little a smirk on his face. People say to me are you going to cut it, but it’s too unique so I’m going to leave it as it is.”

According to Noon, her other children were not born with such a hairy disposition, although she did comment that she experienced heartburn during her pregnancy, which is apparently attached to high levels of estrogen according to a John Hopkins study.

Regardless of what caused the hair, her child is looking great! We can’t wait to see what it gets styled into next!
